Yes it is that time again, tomorrow Coolcronan Hunter Trials kicks off at 10:30am – sharp I’m told and to be honest I am certainly looking forward to it.
Walked the course a few weeks ago, when it was being laid out and it has a number of changes.
Will be there with my trusty camera to snap people at their best. Must admit I am always in awe of the amount of work people do, simply to arrive at the event.

Spring is here & everyone is gearing up for the summer season.
Last weekend saw the long awaited morning dawn on the Shore Farm Hunter Trials. Having missed the first session last year, was looking forward to the event myself. Nipped in on the Saturday eve for a course walk and it was certainly worth it. The range of fences on the course and varied terrain was enough to test my stamina, never mind jockeys & their steeds.
Sunday dawned murky and overcast. Grass damp with a heavy dew, I was glad to fish the booties out of the car. Trials were well underway by 9:30am with the pre-novice pairs, followed by pre-novice singles, novice pairs, novice singles & open pairs & open singles.
