Last week, Moygownagh was the location for the North Mayo Harriers hunt. A turnout of over 70 participants of all ages resulted in a successful day. A hack along country roads led by several escort vehicles, led into a country estate where cantering, galloping & jumping went ahead.
Refreshments - mince pies & a quick drink were served outside the House & then another round of jumping commenced, with all having a go.
As you can see from the picture above there was quite a turnout & yes the weather was kind, with it turning out to be a dry mild day - not at all like the wet murky morning the day had dawned.
Thanks to all the leaders of the event & a special thanks to the property owners who kindly facilitated access to their properties for the event. Without their generosity, the hunt could not go ahead.
