The weather was simply terrible! From one minute to the next you didn’t know what was going to happen next. One moment it was dry and the next it was spilling rain.
Yet the riders completed the course with relish, eating up the ground. There was great variation this year, as the Dodds decided to re-route their course, sending riders off in the opposite direction to last years route, which allowed riders to open up and avail of the open stretches.
It was a day that was thoroughly enjoyed by many, despite the weather.
